EMLS (Early Modern Literary Studies) is an on-line academic journal. The site also includes various useful links, including how to subscribe to Shaksper, the list-serv discussion group

If you really want to read about this pseuod-problem, you can start with The Shakespeare Authorship Page maintained by Dave Kathman and Terry Ross. Alan Nelson also has a brief review of the Oxford candidacy. Mr. William Shakespeare and the Internet provides links to anti-Stratfordian sites.

The Royal Shakespeare Company web site offers information about the largest, best-funded theater company in the world.

Closer to us, the Shakespeare Theatre at the Lansburgh (in Washington) is a professional company chiefly devoted to performing Shakespeare. Their web site offers the usual theater information along with pictures and articles on several recent productions. It also has a section on internships in theater management for college students.

The Internet Movie Database lists 342 films based on Shakespeare's plays.
